As someone in recovery myself and have first hand knowledge and experience of the primary care facility at Morning Star, there is sooo much offered to aid in someones personal recovery journey. I emphasize the fact that your recovery is only as good as your effort. Entering a recovery facility is a luxury as most of us can only afford to go to local meetings and I know from first hand experience that there are a lot of scholarships granted to attend these facilities because there are so many professionals who care enough to help foot the bill and save someone's life. Instead of blaming the facility for someones failure to stay sober I suggest family members attend Al anon meetings so that you can help yourself and your loved one understand the disease of addiction.

Integrative Life Center is a true gem and gave me the tools to heal trauma, and experience a life of freedom I never knew was possible. I arrived to ILC 3 years ago completely debilitated by my depression, anxiety, untreated trauma, and an active eating disorder. The amount of shame I had checking back into treatment after having 7 years sober and working in the treatment industry was overwhelming. ILC tailored a program that was specific and authentic to my healing. I witness other women I went to treatment with being treated with that same dignity and respect. I loved the broad range of healing modalities they used while integrating in a "real life" setting. My favorites were the regular EMDR, breath work, psychodrama, the incredible nutritionist on staff, sweat lodges, yoga, and meditation. When you come to ILC you are like family... The love didn't end when I completed my stay, and have continued to feel the support as an alumni. ILC is unique and would highly recommend.

I have been working here for 5 years. I have been given opportunities to advance my career, been given access to trainings in a wide variety of modalities and been mentored by informed and understanding supervision. I feel very supported by my co-workers as we strive to provide the best. treatment we can for our clients.
